Nicholas Bradford-Ewart founded Archipelago Productions and doesn’t know what to do with himself if he doesn’t have a camera in hand. He is a Producer, Director and DP based out of Toronto who has a passion for all things film and video and completed his Masters of Film Production at York University. Nicholas recently served as series producer and DP on on CBC’s popular 3 part documentary series “Devout + Out.” He’s an award winning filmmaker and his work has been shown internationally as part of Telefilm’s “Not Short on Talent.” His client work includes producing videos for Google, Netflix, Etsy, Time Magazine, the University of Toronto and many more. Nicholas is known for his ability to problem solve and takes great pleasure in finding the prefect creative fix. Jana Stackhouse is an award-winning director and producer with years of experience working in both the narrative and commercial industry. With a BFA in Film from Ryerson University, Jana has received numerous awards including The Norman Jewison Award and the Harvey Hart Director’s Award. She has produced and directed content for clients such as Google, Netflix and Right To Play. Jana’s films have screened at various festivals internationally including TIFF, The Atlantic International Film Festival, and Los Angeles CineFest. Her film "Away Home", was selected for TIFF’s Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival and won the Best Female Director Award at Hollywood North Film Festival. Jana directed the web series "Note To Self" for CBC, which has garnered over 1.5 million views and received a Canadian Screen Award Nomination for Best Web Program or Series - Fiction.
Alex is a Director/Producer based out of Toronto, Canada. A queer-identified man, Alex is passionate about providing platforms for marginalized people and his works often carry very strong LGBT-related themes. Recently, he directed a promotional spot for the release of Joshua M. Ferguson’s memoir “Me, Myself, They: Life Beyond the Binary”, which details their journey as a trans non-binary person, culminating in Joshua successfully obtaining the first ever birth certificate with no sexual designation. Alex is the co-producer behind CBC Gem's doc mini-series "Devout + Out", the first episode of which also details his husband's own journey of faith and self-discovery as a queer man of the cloth. The episode alone has garnered over 60 thousand views within the first month of its release. As former script supervisor (continuity), Alex has had the privilege of working closely with many talented directors in both film and television, an experience that has lead him to honing his own skills and voice as a storyteller of documentary, fiction and commercial works.
